un Projects invites you to join us at our 20 year celebration of our flagship publication, un Magazine, celebrating twenty years of exciting arts publishing. To commemorate the occasion, we’re hosting an exhibition and fundraiser party at The Stables, Meat Market in North Melbourne/Naarm, where it all started.
Join us on Friday the 6th December where we will host speeches from the board, performances from Kirby Casilli, Debris Facility and Diego Ramírez, and readings from Ender Başkan and Olivia Koh. This will be alongside an exhibition of special edition prints from past magazine cover artists including Julie Gough, Raafat Ishak, Katie West, and Elyas Alavi, and works from un board and committee members which will all be raising funds for un Projects! My Name Chef will be cooking up an exciting table of food.
The un Magazine archive will be available to view and purchase. A raffle will be available for your chance to win bundles of gifts including Books by Uro and Neighbourhood Wine vouchers. It will be an exciting celebration of our two-decade old arts community that un has fostered! All support will help keep un Magazine going for another 20 years!
The exhibition will remain on view and available on Saturday 7th December where we will be hosting a public program, time sleeping: futures and echoes, with an artist talk from Sam Rolfes (US) in conversation with Stanton Cornish-Ward, a presentation from incoming Guest Editor Lucreccia Quintanalla, and from past un Magazine contributor d duan!
