My Dad the People Smuggler is a video that speaks to the photographic images he has included in the print edition of un Magazine 10.2. The video examines his father’s role as a people smuggler after the Vietnam War – portraying his father’s motives as good and his action as humane, Ngo works to counter the politically driven narrative that the smuggler is inherently evil.
